Some Forever (due out March 28th at the Fest for Beatles Fans in Jersey City, NJ) follows the Beatles through the second half of 1965, including the first Shea Stadium concert, meeting Elvis Presley, the making of the Rubber Soul album, their UK homeland tour and much more. Join John and the lads for the conclusion of this crazy transitional year between the Early Beatles (that great stage band!) and The Studio Beatles. Pre-orders of the book are available at: johnlennonseries.com
Jude Southerland Kessler’s John Lennon Series takes readers chronologically through his life. The first five volumes are Shoulda Been There, Shivering Inside, She Loves You, Should Have Known Better and Shades of Life. With a personal library of over 500 Beatles-related books and multi-media resources, Kessler undertook seven trips to Liverpool, England to interview Lennon’s childhood friends, early band members, art college mates, and business associates before embarking on writing the series, which is told in a narrative history format and heavily documented.
Kenneth Womack, PhD, is the author of a two-volume biography on producer George Martin, as well as Solid State: The Story of Abbey Road and the End of the Beatles, John Lennon, 1980: The Last Days in the Life and Living the Beatles Legend: The Untold Story of Mal Evans. He is also the Music Culture columnist for Salon and the host of their Everything Fab Four podcast.
